I am a treasurer of church and I want to resign from my post, looking for a simple sample resignation letter. Reason should be health related.

Respected Sir,

Please consent my resignation from St. Leo’s Catholic Church applicable from 29th of this month.

It was truly an offer serving in church. But I believe god helped me in all the way to serve him till now, but now my health problems are not permitting me to serve here. As I got health checkup last week doctors suggested me to take full time rest. So please kindly grant my resignation and offer me acceptance letter shortly.

Serving in St. Leo’s Catholic Church is one of the greatest pleasures. And I hope if my health permits to serve in future I will be available to oblige without any issues. Sorry for the inconvenience caused by my resignation unfortunately.
