Using words wisely when quitting a job is very important. Let me tell things not to say when you quit your job.
One find day you get a job opportunity from a top company and you decide to quit, but there are many formalities to be completed before quitting a job and you need to stick to them. Your current company should approve the resignation letter and when you join the new company they make verification’s of previous experience, when this is done your previous company can give you bad conduct about your attitude. So always keep in mind that when quitting a job knows what to talk and what not to, quitting fruitfully will always help you in future.
- Don’t directly go and tell you manager “I got a better offer and quitting job” this means to say that the present company is not providing best offer. Meet your manager and say “My experience with this company has help me get a job”
- Before even talking to the manager or Boss write a letter that contains all the positive words..Say like..The resignation letter should say how the present company has helped in enhancing his skills. The job offered was for a position which is not available in the company. Write a letter that makes the Boss feel happy to get a new job offer.
- Once you have new job offer don’t directly o and say “I am leaving the office today, please prepare my relieving letter” this looks totally awkward and mostly the relieving process can take longer. Inform you Boss that “I require 2 weeks for resigning from my duties” “I will finish the pending work of the month, before quitting”
- If the new company offer is double the present company, then i have seen employees just telling others that ” this is the worst company i have worked for” In case the manager or Boss here this then you are in trouble, as they are the one who have given you the job offer. Make sure that you use something like ” I think the new job offered perfectly suites my skill sets, the skills I got it from this company, i will always be thankful for this company”
Few More Words Not To Say When You Quit Your Job:
- Don’t ever tell them “I am quitting because I was not paid enough”
- I am resigning because i was not promoted
- I am not satisfied with the work, environment in this office
- The boss always tried to pressurize me
- The work here don’t match my skills
- The other company offer me great salary package
- I can’t come to office as i got a new offer and mailing you the resignation letter, i require my relieving letter by end of this month”
These sentences and words give negative impact on oneself, having a successful quitting always happens when you’re a positive person. Your future depends on the experience in the present company; ensure your relations are good in every company you work for, as you don’t know how and when they might be helpful in future.
